Great cosy cottage
The weather was windy and cold but we were nice and cosy inside. Great for our dog with well fenced yard, great dog walks and fenced offleash area and dog friendly beach close by. The place was very clean and well maintained with a sense the owner cares about it. Would stay again

Beautiful winter escape
Beautiful yards and spacious rooms. Lots of wildlife visiting the lovely gardens. It was very picturesque. The water view and access to walks was fantastic. On arrival we noted that there were no bikes and communicated with the owner. Who advised the bikes were no longer supplied and the property manager was meant to have updated communications about this. The owner herself was so lovely and responsive to communications. The location of the property was perfect for us. The cottage had everything you could possibly need. This was our first holiday in two years due to the pandemic and it was exactly what we needed.

Rejuvenated and Refreshed
We had a lovely stay in this beautiful and comfortable house in a magic, bird filled garden. The house was well organised for guests - human and dogs. We will be back!

Great property, but reeks of mould
Got to the property Friday night, it's a beautiful spot, but because of the vicinity to the lake, and being all wooden, the house reeks of mould, especially when we first got there and it was all closed up for an unknown time. Besides that, it was great, the bathrooms are freshly renovated and it's very roomy. But we had to wash everything we own after we left.

Lovely House
A great house with a fabulous bath. The front yard is excellent for dogs but they require supervision in the backyard as the gate is low. Everything you need is there except for a vacuum. The birdlife is wonderful and so is the view, will book again.

Beautiful family retreat
An excellent experience from go to whoa. The listing reflects the reality accurately which is often not the case. Check in was private and easy. The property itself is an 'A' frame design which lends an interesting aesthetic for the bedrooms for the kids - it's fun in other words. The house is spacious and allows for separate areas for kids to stay away from each other when necessary - a prerequisite for maintaining family peace in my experience. The house is set up for professional letting out and as such is instantly easy to live in with a basic stock of essetials in the pantry and things like glad wrap and foil in the drawers - makes a big difference. I only needed to have a single interaction with our host (to ask a favour) and found her to be accommodating and extremely friendly. Oh, the bbq outdoor area is awesome and the kayaks in the shed are well kept and ready to go with the property directly on the lake. My favourite aspect of the property is the evening with stunning colours setting over the lake and a garden which has had effort installed to attract the local Birdlife. This is a lovely spot which I will be returning to. Thanks for a great stay. :)
