“The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. “Wir waren vor unserem Aufenthalt etwas skeptisch, da die bisherigen Bewertungen sehr unterschiedlich ausfielen. Im Nachhinein können wir aber sagen, dass wir uns hier wohlgefühlt haben. Natürlich gibt es ein paar kleinere Kritikpunkte. Die Dusche war etwas umständlich und dadurch auf Dauer etwas nervig. Dafür waren die Betten hervorragend – wir haben sehr gut geschlafen. Die Sauberkeit war ebenfalls einwandfrei. Das Frühstück war völlig in Ordnung. Entgegen mancher Bewertungen herrschte kein……

“It’s a basic trailer caravan across from the water. Convenient for a family of 4 with 2 bedrooms. Shower had good pressure. Nice selection of dvd movies and games in the living room. Pretty view and close to the Isle of Skye bridge and a few shops in Bradford. It’s a bit dated and smells a little moldy, no AC or fan.”
