The owner Richard proved to be really helpful and accommodating. Both my wife and myself have difficulties walking, we use walking sticks as aids. The first room we were given was clean, comfortable and well presented but had a bath/shower unit. at breakfast Richard realising we may have a problem suggested another room with a walk in shower. He then moved all our gear while we had breakfast. all the meals were very satisfying and more than enough. Every day of our stay, Richard his wife Becky, his staff Jan and Tim could not have been more helpful. They all made our stay a memorable one. Richard and his staff were excellent, very engaging, helpful with ideas and information about the area. The food was excellent. Very central for getting around by train, but also has room for cars.
