“We had a wonderful visit only marred by problems of cleanliness in our room. The reception staff were brilliant and couldn’t do enough for us. They were friendly, helpful and when they said something would be done, it was. The food was excellent and service prompt but unobtrusive. Will definitely return. ”

“I had never stayed in a room above a Public House but I was amazed just how good the Staff made me feel. I was escorted to a lovely clean room with excellent facilities. I soon realised that the owners took personal control of guest relations when I requested extra warm bedding, it was delivered to my room by one of the co-owners, in person! This level of attention to detail continued throughout my stay and nothing was too much trouble. The food served on the premises was cooked to a high……

Even though it was self catering, I had bread, butter, milk, jam/marmalade/honey and orange juice in the fridge which was complimentary. Food in the pub in the evenings was lovely, tasty and hot. Staff, landlady and landlord were so friendly and welcoming. The locals were engaging and friendly too. As a solo traveller I was well looked after and……
