This apartment had great space and really useful cooking facilities. A dishwasher and washing machine in such a small apartment were useful for a longer stay, although we didn't use the later for our 3 night break. It's really convenient for the City centre and even closer to the Millennium Stadium, although I bet prices for major events there are much higher. Cardiff is a great city and certainly cheaper than Lincoln where we live. Strongly recommend a visit.

I can honestly say that I won’t be staying at The Coal Exchange again. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing from the moment I entered the room. The room looked completely different from the photographs shown online when I made the booking. I appreciate that hotel rooms can sometimes look slightly different in person, but the difference in this case was quite significant and the overall condition of the room was nowhere near what I had expected. The first thing I noticed was the strong smell of cigarette smoke in the room. This was particularly unpleasant and made the room feel unclean and uncomfortable. I then tried to open the window to get some fresh air, only to be extremely shocked by what I saw when I did so. There were cobwebs around the room, as well as various stains, which added to the impression that the room had not been properly cleaned or maintained. The carpet also looked as though it had not been hoovered properly, which again made the room feel far from the standard I was expecting. The bathroom was another major disappointment. The toilet seat was loose, and there was a noticeable damp smell coming from the toilet area. The sink took an extremely long time to drain, which was frustrating and certainly not something I would expect from a hotel room. The most concerning issue, however, was the amount of black mould above the jet-stream bath. Seeing mould in this area was particularly off-putting, especially in a bathroom where you would
