Our shower was broken. The bed was v hard and the pillows were a bit of a struggle. I didn’t love that the Avis didn’t have designated drop off parking after 545pm, or that the gym closed at 9pm. That’s WAY too early. Also, Dragos is just mid diner food at a Four Seasons price. The Junction Cafe is great and convenient until I was charged 53 dollars for two microwaved breakfast sandies and two day old fruit cups and then harrangued for a tip. The breakfast cafe, Le Croissant, was lovely. Great food and service. The other thing that was a bit annoying was the guest hotline rang and rang. Eventually someone picked up but I had to call a few times. The last thing that grossed me out was that I looked at the “silver honors” perks and it lists 2 free 8 ounce bottles of water. Come on. You can’t provide that for your guests always? If that’s your “perk”, you’re no where near a luxury brand. Take better care of your guests.

Outstanding accommodations

Overall, I was impressed with the room itself. It was very spacious. It came with a kitchen, which was necessary for me because I was traveling with my grandchildren. The checkout time is earlier than other places it was for 10 AM and I didn’t realize that until I was getting ready to leave. It was my birthday weekend and I was traveling with my grandchildren which makes navigating a little different the cost for a late check out is 150 and I decided to go ahead and do a late checkout because of the gravity of the situation when I pay the money, everything is virtual, you don’t talk to anyone face to face which I really did not like when you enter into the hotel there’s no one there to greet you. Everything is virtual. Some people may like it because they don’t have to deal with anyone, but I do like to be able to interact with other others after I paid the money. A person from the staff came in and yelled at us and said that we were supposed to be out. She further noted that she would be back in 10 minutes and we needed to be gone as I tried to call out to her she stormed out of the room and did not respond to anyone of us that was talking to her to let her know that we have paid the money when I spoke with someone they told me that they will call me back on Monday and which I never received the call and that they would’ve went in charge not once did they try to compensate me for being interrupted and late for my reservations that I had I would not go back because of that.

We loved our stay at The eleanor! The unit was so clean, very spacious, and comfortable. I loved the charcuterie board they had for us in the refrigerator. Such a nice touch! The location is perfect, about a 10 minute walk from anywhere we wanted to go. I would definitely stay there again!

Will definitely be staying again, easiest access to the French Quarter which was the whole point of the trip.
