“We absolutely enjoyed our stay. We often rent on Lake Talquin and this is by far our favorite thus far. The outdoor spaces are wonderful- very shady with breathtaking views of lake. Boathouse is great. Very close to well maintained boat ramp. We enjoyed the outdoor shower. Kitchen and LR smaller than average but still plenty of room for us as typically while men were watching TV we were in kitchen. “With its comfortable beds and central location, This rental seems to be an ideal place for a bunch of twenty-somethings to crash after a day/night of activity. It was not as comfortable for a family group of three generations that would like to cook in, sometimes, and live like home when not on the go. The property manager did bring by things that we requested when we arrived and noticed some obvious needs. But, things that we considered necessities; like washcloths and a can opener were……

“The directions to the farm could have been clearer but the way was hampered because of tornadoes having hit the area just the week before. I would have liked hearing from the owner the day of the storm when she knew of the downed trees and power lines and huge ruts in the driveway that would cause some vehicles much difficulty getting through, mine included.
