“We loved our stay at this gem of a BnB. The massive bed and the hearty breakfast gave us the energy to explore the area and made any jet lag a non-issue. Sue and Gary are wonderful hosts and provide as little or as much interaction as you want and were very helpful with ideas for locale, especially dinner. Sawby is a cute English town and the locals were very friendly when we went for walks.”

“This place is a little gem. A great deal of thought has gone into the rooms, everything you need for a comfortable stay. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. Very welcoming staff who clearly want the guests to have an enjoyable stay. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent, with plenty of choice. Would definitely stay again.”

The hostess was exceptionally friendly and helpful and the breakfast (included) was very tasty. Attention to detail in the room could have been better. Carpet needed hoovering (and replacing) the bed hadn’t been made and although this was remedied, it looked thrown together. The loo seat was a bit ‘mobile’ and there was no hot water in the shower (apparently the boiler had tripped out).……

“The rooms were small but perfectly adequate. The rooms were not air conditioned and as we were there on one of the hottest weekends of the year the room was very hot overnight. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.”
