Lovely Hotel

Lovely hotel in the heart of Market Rasen. Spotlessly clean, lovely room, comfy bed with a nice bathroom. Food was quality, reasonably priced. We have eaten gere before but this was our first stay, it won't be the last

Excellent for anyone staying in the area, rooms very comfortable and to a very high standard, evening meals, wow so much food and excellent, recommend the lamb roasts. Breakfast was very good as well, thanks to the staff at the Advocate Arms

Nice place to stay in Market Rasen

The Advocate was a comfortable and clean place to stay. The restaurant was nice for breakfast and we had one nice evening meal there as well. Staff were very friendly and efficient.

Hotel itself was nice , staff very polite & friendly.Room was a nice size but not a fan of fluffy & out dated carpet in our room ( couple we traveled with had wood floor, much better room ) bathroom door sticking/ jamming on floor ( only open halfway) and old bathpanel coming to bits

Be aware no lifts have to walk upstairs. But pub and restaurant downstairs good food really nice staff. Parking opposite if you are lucky is free but later in evening usually. Otherwise paid lots are free after 6 close by. Narrow streets. Have to be used to being in England for this!

Overnight for races

Staff friendly and allowed early check in. Room was clean but showing signs of wear on decor. Wallpaper starting to peel and skirting chipped. Carpet could do with replacing. Breakfast was lovely, good portion ( additional cost) Overall room was quiet and bed comfy. Nice sunny beer garden to rear Please note: this hotel doesnt have a cark park. Cars to be parked in publoc cark park to rear of property.

Was okay with some issues

There is a very small revolving door for the main entrance, which is very cute but a pain is you have luggage. The room was spacious and the bathroom great. However the bed was very soft and there was a lot of noise from the kitchen fan and the fridge units. The refrigeration unit went on and off all through the night. So would not recommend room 6 We had a very pleasant evening meal which was two delicious pies. Would recommend

One night stay

Hotel room was large and clean and beds were comfortable. Our room looked straight out onto the main road through Market Rason so there was some road noise. The curtains were also very light so this meant we woke up early. We were made aware prior to arrival that due to it being bank holiday, the restaurant would be closing at 6.00pm. However, we didn’t expect the whole hotel to close and all staff to go home, so good job we arrived before 6.00pm. We were given a key code to access the door from outside if we wanted to go out for the evening, which we did and there was also an emergency contact number if needed.

Charming place to stay, outstanding value. The room was spotless and much more than we expected for the price. The staff are all friendly and helpful. Breakfast wasn't included but was well worth the extra cost. No parking but plenty of available in a car park across the road. Highly recommended and will definitely stay here again.
