“The room was beautiful and comfortable, also very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. We didn’t have breakfast there, but others said it was good. Location was perfect for seeing the city, and an easy walk to the cruise terminal had we wanted to. Taxi was quick and inexpensive.”

“This was an amazing property - extremely well located. Within easy walking of the waterfront (cruise pier), and several major attractions such as the Roman theater. The property itself is amazing. The lobby area is very nice and comfortable. Elevators are a nice size and pretty fast. The room we had had a nice queen size bed, a very efficient bathroom with a walk-in shower. The entire hotel is set up as an extension of its name - The Modernist. Extremely clean facility - the breakfast……

“Staff was the model of Italian efficiency. Which of course should not be confused with world class efficiency. When we got the restaurant bill, we were not changed for the salad my wife only partially ate as she wasn’t very hungry, I asked them to add the cost back. Instead they deducted it again ! I got even with them by leaving an excessive tip. Hotel design is unusual. Reception is detached from the rooms being separated by a street in the middle of town. Staff was always very polite and……

“This is a lovely, small hotel with friendly, helpful staff in a wonderfully walkable part of Trieste. Like almost every city, finding street parking is difficult. Thankfully, I found out there is one temporary space in front of the hotel to unload or load luggage. Then, I found out that they have some indoor parking available just up the street for 15 Euros per 24 hours. Also, they offer a discount if you want to park in the nearby underground Park San Giusto which is less complicated driving……

“位置優越：鄰近火車，巴士站，到城內觀光購物亦十分便利。 服務一流：入住前曾向酒店查詢有關早餐的安排，很快就收到Jessica的答覆。入住當天收到一份有關火車延誤的意大利文電郵，所以向前台Victoria查詢，她不但給我們很詳細的解釋，而且將電郵打印一份並用螢光筆標示重點，以方便我們使用，這種服務實在貼心。 早餐一流：餐廳平時供應咖啡等飲品及小食給住客享用，早餐內容非常精彩，服務員招呼周到。”
