"Very warm welcome feom the hotels reception staff member, nomlift bit its just a one floor then it should not be a problem, car park by the hotel is great, just mind that if you come out after 8 pm then ise your room key to open the main entrance,i was not told and luckily i guessed. The bed mattress are seriously old amd sogy but all very clean. "My wife and I had a wonderful 1-night stay at Hotel Burg Wassenberg. We felt very welcomed by the wonderful staff, from personally showing us to our room to the restaurant staff going out of their way to ensure my wife had one more schnitzel before leaving Germany. All-in-all, it was a memorable moment on our vacation, after a series of forgettable budget hotels. And the historical town of Wassenberg is worth a visit, even though it’s off the beaten path. "Superb hotel in a beautiful setting. The rooms are fairly luxurious and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely be very happy to stay there again. There is a covered bike shed at the back of the building. One thing that was a shame is there was nowhere to lock a bike to such as a Sheffield stand or tie down point. So the bike was locked to itself in a shed and behind a gate with a code. "

"This hotel is a scam. They have no one to check you in or help you out. The self-check-in machine didn't have my reservation details, so I wasn't able to check in. When I contacted them on WhatsApp, an AI bot messaged me back saying it couldn't locate my reservation in their system. I ended up booking at another hotel, and they refused to give me my money back. This hotel should be shut down because it is a scam."
