Good staff

We were in Toulouse during the dreaded 2 week canicule. The hotel was cool and clean and staff were helpful, letting us park next to the hotel in the pedestrian zone to unload and load our luggage. In the heat, walking 10 minutes to the parking lot would have been a challenge with all our luggage. It is in an interesting part of the city, but sadly it was too hot to explore. There is an elevator and breakfast was good.

The hotel staff were all very friendly, helpful and professional! The cleanliness of the room was impeccable. The room was quiet - no airport noise. Air conditioning was adequate. The location was close to the airport as well as a large, modern shopping mall, with E. Leclerc being the largest store. The mall also has a food court, with a nice variety of options. It is about a 10 min walk from the hotel. The shuttle to the airport is provided free by the hotel and is very punctual. The downside is that the bed was as hard as a rock - no soft mattress topper - and the 2 pillows were equally terrible. The ‘firm’ pillow was flat and hard. The ‘softer’ pillow was lumpy and unusable. We did not have a good night’s sleep - which is one of the main purposes of a hotel! This was our first stay at one of the Holiday Inn hotels and we were impressed by the cleanliness and the friendly staff, but at the same time disappointed by the bad quality of the sleep, due to the hard bed.

Clean and nice. Central location so you can walk to everything. Air conditioned. Helpful staff.
