“What a fantastic treehouse surprise! Absolutely beautiful and truly in the forest but steps away from a lovely sauna and hot tub, and the nicest host even has four laying hens! The route we took included some 1-2km twisty dirt road and felt like a real adventure. We stayed here for a romantic birthday two night stay while taking an excellent blacksmithing course at nearby Vans Blacksmithing in Hawkesbury, and stayed another day for open forge time. “We absolutely loved our stay this winter. The place is very clean and beds are comfortable. The decor is very cottage like. So gorgeous and cozy. We enjoyed the indoor wood fire stove and variety of games available to us. The place is well equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare our meals. The host followed up with us to make sure everything was to our liking. The little town near by has a great corner/grocery store with a bakery. There are also a few spas nearby but we……

“During winter, if you don’t have an FWD, you can get stuck down the hill leading to the cottage. I had to pay for towing 3 cars up the hill. The owner wouldn’t assist. We were 12 and the dining table didn’t have 12 chairs althought it was lease for 12.”
