"The hotel was generally good; however, the shower design was poorly executed. There was no threshold between the shower and toilet area, which allowed water to flow freely into the rest of the bathroom and created an ongoing inconvenience. It is also important to note that the room was not an accessible (barrier-free) room. In accessible rooms, this type of shower configuration may be required for accessibility purposes. However, since this was a standard room and the shower itself was not designed to be accessible, the threshold-free design was inappropriate and resulted in poor functionality."

"It was cold and rainy in Montreal and our small hotel room had no view, so we gave up our second night, drove to this hotel, where we had a lakeview, a fireplace, a separate bedroom and easy 5 minute drive to the pedestrian village. Still cold and rainy but a much better way to spend such a day. The food in the lodge restaurant is pretty good, too."
