“Staying here was an awesome experience, if even for a day. We arrived late in the evening and the owner Mario was so very accommodating and informative. We stayed in the side house, an interesting property with its centuries-old design. We could feel the history in every room. It was very comfortable, very roomy and the amenities made us feel right at home. The drive up may intimidate some (if during at night), as it winds up the mountain side, but staying there is well worth it. Thank you Mario……

“I loved this property. It’s a smaller city and we had a car so we drove to the train station and hopped on the train. The host at San Rocco was wonderful, very accommodating, handled our requests quickly and courteously. The restaurant is run by a man and his wife who previously owned a restaurant. The restaurant on Saturday evening was full to capacity because loyal customers have followed him to his new location. The food is fantastic and the service is excellent. “The staff at this property took excellent care of us. They were patient, kind, and helpful. The food was very fresh and flavorful. The shower was a little difficult to get working properly but we figured it out in the end. Really loved the view from the balcony too. 10/10 would stay again. ”

Die Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig und friedlich gelegen; es war dennoch möglich, tagsüber Getränke im Restaurant zu erhalten (10m von unserem Zimmer) oder im Farmladen zu erhalten. Das Baden im Pool und im Fluss (ca. 10 min Fussweg) war bei der Hitze sehr erfrischend und das Zimmer hatte eine Klimaanlage.
