“We have stayed here 20 or 30 times and this is the first time I have had to write an average review. Parking was terrific and safe but we were let down by a shabby and shoddy room and shower. The skirting boards were devoid of paint. The furniture was old and tired apart from the bed which was as comfortable as usual. The shower cubicle needed re sealing and the shower head wouldn’t stay up under its own weight. The room was on the first floor and not a patch on the downstairs rooms adjacent to……

"We had a large room with queen-size bed, the bathroom was massive with a large hand basin but no shelves to put your toiletry bag, so I had to put it outside the bathroom. In my 40+ years of travelling around, it’s the first time a hotel doesn’t offer cups for rinsing teeth, or even for drinking. No hairdryer again, and I only realised after washing my hair after midnight. A room opposite us made squeaky noise every now and then, it was loud enough to wake us up early in the morning. Please lubricate all the doors🙏"
