This was excellently acknowledged and our early check into the hotel was fully accomodated. My travelling party needed the extra support and this was honoured by the reception team. “Stayed for one night, the apartment was comfortable. The one downside to checking in was the timing was quite late at 5pm. however as it’s was only one night, and the complex is huge, I tried to walk to reception twice in the space of 90 minutes upon checking into my room and became completely lost. As a solo traveller, being right at the top of the hill in the back end of nowhere, I didn’t feel the safest throughout the night. Being closer to the reception / main entrance area would have felt a……

Pros: attentive and professional staff, prompt service, cleanliness of hotel and room, room insulation( for a hotel packed with kids, we never heard a peep while we were in our rooms), activities for kids, hotel shuttle that brings you to Old Town and the beach, variety of food, hours that meals were served, attention to detail (toiletries for kids, pillows for kids, water fountains and cups in every floor, kid-sized toilets and stools to reach the sink in the Kids……

“Het gebouw en de zwembaden worden redelijk onderhouden. Dezelfde gebreken als 2 / 3 jaar terug nog niet gerepareerd. Verder eigenlijk te weinig ligbedden waardoor er weer handdoekje leggen geblazen is als je bij het zwembad wil liggen. Vriendelijk personeel en prima poolbar. Niet geschikt voor minder validen. ”

“Had a really good time there with my family. I actually booked another hotel in Sagres, but with much smaller space and poorer infrastructure. So I cancelled that one, and drove back again to Balaia hotel. Again the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There was also an indoor swimming pool nearby. Hotel staff was nice and helpful. Not to mention that the price is so attractive. Definitely worth it.”

“The staff at this hotel are 10/10. We moved from another hotel that was horrible, we was allowed to check in early & check out late. They was able to dry a couple items of clothing at short notice as the balcony wasn’t in direct sunlight. Second time we have stayed here & would use another hotel again. ”

“The Hotel staff was very accomodating Their Shampoo dispenser was poor. The TV channels were very limited and several channels didn't work. There was no oven, but had a microwave. There is washing machine which was very nice. There was a lot of entertainment around the pool. Good restaurants walking distance.”
