“We had a wonderful stay in this quaint hotel located in a 1645 historic building - a former monestery and military hospital- within and part of the city walls. Our room with terrace overlooked the garden, swimming pool and the historic city walls as well as the beautiful surroundings. We enjoyed the sunsets there. This hotel is close to the city center, has free parking and breakfast was delicious. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved that they have several quiet reading/sitting ……

“Nous avons été tres bien accueillis par Lilianne à la réception qui a répondu à nos questions et reconduit à notre chambre, laquelle était très propre et de grandeur correcte. Pour une personne de grande taille, il est difficile de prendre une douche sans éclabousser le plancher. Stationnement dans la rue mais facile. Le déjeuner était copieux et très bon. On recommande sans hésitation. ”

We especially appreciated this after arriving late, having had to leave another nearby hotel due to there being no heat in our room. Despite not staying, that hotel still required payment, even though I was sick with walking pneumonia and needed a warm room to avoid becoming more ill.”
