10/10 Excellent

"I’ve stayed a few times already and it’s always been a pleasant stay. It’s very family friendly, safe, the beds are super comfortable with good bedding and lots of pillows. It is a very quiet and convenient place to lay down after a long drive down to Utsa — which is conveniently right down the road! This recent visit the hotel had just put out hot breakfast for the first time and the tortillas were a total hit! Delicious with eggs and sausage. There is good coffee all day too! Will def stay here every time I visit my kid in college."

Texas Hill Country Resort

10/10 Excellent

"We had a great stay! The Hideaway Cabin was cozy and a perfect size for 4--I had considered the smaller cabin but we needed our own bathroom, and more of a kitchen (we just brought our own cooking oil, spices, food, foil and ziplock bags). The cabin was cozy and had a great view...especially early mornings and at night for star-gazing! The main store and patio were perfect for our first night, where we ordered pizza (delicious!), played games, and made smores. The pool was nice but unfortunately the hot tub was off limits (we were not aware prior to arrival). We enjoyed a morning hike, until we got lost after the first overlook, and took a while to get back on track--kinda scary with no phone reception or signs to direct us. Everyone on the premises was friendly and helpful. And we loved how close to Kerrville we were, for nearby shopping, restaurants, and groceries. We hope to return soon!"

8/10 Good

"The parking was secured by a gate and I felt very safe getting in late and coming into the hotel because of this. My only issue was the door to the bathroom was very difficult to get in and out of because of the space available. Also, the last morning when I turned on the lights in the bathroom there were small black bugs around the wall and base of the toilet. I did let the front desk know so hopefully the issue will be resolved for the next guest. There has been a tremendous amount of rain lately and bugs are a part of Texas. We were in room 325 so for the next guest just a heads up."
