“Beautiful row of houses. Close to beach. Parking available outside property on quiet street. Basic room with sink, shared toilet and shower. Nice warm room. Tv, tea, coffee and biscuits. Comfy bed. Bathroom was on another floor, up squeeky stairs. But ok. Breakfast wasn't till 8.30 which is a bit late for me. I was on the road by 7.30. Great value for money.”

“We really enjoyed our stay. Apartment had all we needed. It was really spacious and beds were extremely comfortable. Showers were fantastic. Security was second to none as Donald Trump was staying next door the weekend we stayed! Was fun to watch his motorcade go by the end of the road. Even had drones flying over and reporters doing live broadcasts on the lawn on the front of the development. Will definitely be back but don’t think Donald will be here next time.”

“The Mecure is a walkable distance from the train station, and from its front doors and front rooms one can look right down a main avenue to the Esplanade and the Firth of Clyde. The staff was excellent, helpful, and friendly. Breakfast had a wide choice of buffet items. I also had supper two evenings in the hotel, and the wait staff plus food were very good. The items for vegetarians were fine, but not much was available for vegans. Because of my knee and hip surgeries, I had to ask to change……
