Pretty decent standard hotel. It is small, the bathrooms are the size of a half bath, so be warned. The pool is not open yet which is weird for April in Alabama. That was thw only reason we even chose this hotel. But glad we did as there are plenty of dining options within walking distance. The staff are friendly which is a huge plus.

Bed wasn't very comfortable and very small pillows. Floors were very dirty, there was laminate flooring and your feet would be very dirty after walking on floors.

Everything at the motel was very clean, And the rooms were very nice. The only bad thing was the microwave was not working correctly and making a lot of noise. But other than that the staff was very friendly and everything was very nice at the motel.

When we checked in we were required to pay a deposit because we paid through Expedia. I was not asked to sign anything upon check in nor was I asked to produce my ID. I checked my room thoroughly because I wanted my deposit back. Immediately I noticed the comforter had holes in it. I asked the woman at the front desk who was visibly annoyed I wanted anything and she produced another which also had holes. I asked for another which looked the same so I gave up. The entire time she kept going to her car to talk on her phone. She did this her entire shift.

This place needs to be renovated. For the price, I was expecting a higher quality place. The chair had patches of leather missing, the smell of cigarette smoke lingers in the air. I cleaned up an area I spilled some water on the vinyl floor and the towel was filthy from that one spot. I wouldn't walk barefoot around this place.

OK stay at the Quality Inn
Overall the room and stay were fine. There were some small issues. The sink had no hot water. The hair dryer did not work, the in room coffee maker did not work (well, it made 1/3 cup of slightly colored water all while it was sputtering and hissing. The shower had no pressure. Your shoes stuck to the floor when you walked. The bed and pillow were very comfortable. The breakfast was passible except the OJ was empty. Breakfast was basic but ok. The room was clean. The staff was attentive. Every time you stopped using the internet for a few minutes, it would disconnect.

Offensive staff harassing me, and are judgemental
The staff are extremely rude. Every morning whoever is working the front desk interrogate me if I have a room here, as if I'm trying to steal the free breakfast.(Which is horrible. The juice taste like it's began to firment, and the cereal is stale). The manager & another lady have came out to the parking lot to ask me if I had a room also, and told me I couldn't walk around while on the phone.That the other guest think I don't have a room here...? I think they just profiled me. I've been staying here over a month & all this still occurs.

Not bad for a night.
Not bad for a one night stay. Room was clean enough and staff was friendly enough.Room smelled of skunk weed house phone broken.Coffee maker broken. Restaurants and convenience store nearby.Property needs a good bit of repair. Then again this isn't a vacation resort and the price was low. The staff did their best with what they had.

Overall, we had a decent stay with no issues. However, at least some of the front desk staff have real attitude problems. They are very condescending and seem irritated that they have to deal with their guests.

Photo on website is out of date/inaccurate. Front desk staff are surly and rude at best. The listing list amenities that do not exist. No fitness room/gym, no pool. Its bare bones, stains on pillow cases, smoke from room below comes up into the ones above. Definitely would NOT recommend.
