“This is a very new hotel and the room is clean and comfortable. The staff is very helpful when they see us are having a baby traveling with us. I would definitely stay here when I come to Jamestown next time! ”

“We had a wonderful and restful week at this cottage. Kitchen was well stocked beyond what we could have asked for. Plenty of paper products including tissues which as a nice touch. We enjoyed playing some of the games provided during the evenings and the property owner Erik was quick to respond when we had a question. The beds are a bit worn but we made due. If vacationers have mobility issues the stairs will be challenging to navigate. Thankful for our time away and even our 20 something……

“We loved being able to sit out back and look at the lake. Lots of beds was nice but no screens upstairs to be able to open windows. With no A/C it got hot. There were towels in the washer. Didn’t know what to do with them so we washed, dried and folded them. Would’ve like to have known about the hard water before getting there. There are a lot of spiders and bugs because of the lake. Windows were covered in spiderwebs.”

“Awesome cabin on the eastern side of the lake, the sunsets were absolutely beautiful. Cabin was well equipped, kitchen and bath is small but very doable. Home has a super sunroom.with view of the lake. We definitely will return.”

“The check-in was less than great! Random dude chillin on the tailgate of his pickup pulled up in the awning area smoking cigs with front desk staff.. I had a “non-smoking” room that straightup smelled like a smoking room.. since I am a smoker.. I asked for a smoking room or if I could smoke in the one that smelled like it.. but was told NO, and there weren’t any available.. I had pets and asked for a room that might be less noisy.. I got put at the top of the stairs right by the lobby.. so……

“We were looking for accomodations in Jamestown that wouldn't break the bank - and thats what we found. The property had everything we needed, and we were very comfortable. If we ever bring our dogs on a road trip up here, this is where we will stay! The check-in was smooth and easy, same when we left. We were a little surprised by the steep steps to get upstairs, but they were manageable. Overall, it was a good experience and a good value.”

“The photos in the listing are accurate. Know that the canal width is not as wide as the pix make it look, but it is still pleasant to have it there and see boaters go by in the morning. We stayed from a Sunday through Friday so it was beautifully quiet. Plenty of towels and kitchen fully equipped!! Enjoyed coffee in the morning and happy hour in the evening on the dock. Lindsay was always timely in her responses. Houses close together - you get to meet others traveling if you engage. Otherwise,……
