Accommodating 6 guests, this property provides a private getaway with all the comforts of your own home! For those seeking a calming getaway, this secluded cabin is the perfect property. 3 minutes to Alto Vineyards!
THE PROPERTY
This beautifully crafted cabin with Pine Floors is a beauty. Built in 2013 this cozy cabin is perfect For the wine trail adventure! Inside, the cabin features stylish decor, and all the amenities necessary for the ultimate getaway experience. Fully equipped kitchen for you cooking delight. With an open concept kitchen and living area, sit back and relax in front of the flat screen TV or gaze out the sliding Glass Windows into the private Forest and Creek.
The early riser of the group will look forward to enjoying their morning coffee in the screened in porch or the outdoor deck overlooking cave creek and the lush forest.. Additionally, the screened porch provides a tranquil space to sit, read and dine while nestled into the forest valley. The cabin has also has a large stone fire pit sitting right next to the creek. If the group is looking for other outdoor activities, the property sits on the River to River trail Shawnee National Forest.There is also a trail that connects with Cedar Lake down the road.

From Cabin on the Creek , you'll be in the perfect location to explore the area. If you're seeking water sports Little Grassy offers Kayak and Boat Rentals. Giant City is only 15 minutes away from Cabin on the Creek. In the Heart of the Shawnee National Forest, Giant City is known for some of the best hiking trails and interesting rocks formations. With hundreds of species of Trees, and rare flowers abound this park is a paradise. Horseback riding, that right! Giant City Stables! Check it out! Getting Hungry after a day of hiking and exploring? Visit Blue Boar BBQ for some delicious BBQ! This location is truly the best on the wine trail! 3 Minute Drive to ALTO VINEYARDS!

Daughter’s Graduation
A little slice of heaven, a creek running right outside your front door, at night you can hear the water flowing its so calm and peaceful.. Owner is very responsive and deeply cares about your stay!! I would give him 10 stars if possible!!

Beautiful Area
I loved being away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The home is cozy but the water pressure for showers was almost non existent. It would be nice to have better internet for rainy days. But overall nice stay and beautiful home and outdoor space.

A very pretty area
This is a beautiful piece of property with a very basic cabin. The owner was attentive and checked in on us. Overall our stay was nice and comfortable. The bed was comfortable which is a big plus. We enjoyed our time here. The only complaint I would have is a lack of water pressure. The cabin could use a water pressure tank. That would have made a huge difference. All in all, a pretty nice VRBO property.

Impressed by the privacy, nature immersed deck view of woods and creek.saw several deer while having coffee.very large firepit area.cabin was more then adequately furnished and supplied. Definitely reserve this one again.owner answers your text with a actual call.very nice!

Fun Family Getaway
We loved staying at the cabin on the creek! The creek itself provided tons of entertainment for our almost 3-year-old. Lots of hiking and outdoor entertainment nearby. The host was a fantastic communicator leading up to and on the trip dates. The outdoor spaces at the property are nice little escapes from the city! Great stay, would recommend!

Cousins getaway
This was our runaway from home weekend. The cabin was very comfortable. The hot tube was very welcome after a day of travel. I loved the creek and wish that the weather had been nicer to enjoy it more. Brian was very prompt to respond to any communication. Highly recommend.
