“Lovely property”

“We were a party of 10, getting together to celebrate the 60th birthday party of 2 family members. The house was beautiful, plenty of room for everyone, although to be honest we spend most of our time in the cosy but large kitchen and adjacent games room. Many period features allowed you to really experience how they used to love. Kirby Stephen high street was a stones throw away, making it convenient for local shops and pubs. Would highly recommend for a large family get together”

“Very spacious downstairs, perfect for a big group. 2 lovely bedrooms with fantastic en suites and 2 good bedrooms with small en suites. Beautiful grounds with river and hot tub a great bonus. Altogether a lovely stay and would highly recommend.”

Great walks from the door with neighbouring Kirkby Stephen easily accessed by foot path or car for shopping. Ample parking space that is easy to access. Quiet. We very much enjoyed our stay”

“Great communication with Imaan throughout and if i had any questions pre trip, i had a quick response. Easy check in process, details sent the day before. Parking is behind on a public car park and was safe. The property is as expected. It's spacious with a lovely kitchen area, great if you're away with family or friends. The bedrooms were very comfortable. Although just off the high street and the lounge overlooks it, there is No noise at all! So it's just perfectly positioned. Tip: Check……

“The stay was lovely, create location from the train station and Kendal for the festival. Communication was great with the hosts who were helpful and accommodating when we cancelled one night. There was tea and milk on arrival which was lovely after a long train journey and the rain! The place was lovely and warm as well. Thanks!”

“The place is absolutely stunning and we loved the secret door in particular. The fact there was some basic provisions when we arrived was super. The size of the apartment was much bigger than expected, and the decor, although a bit dated was in keeping with the property. The local village was quaint and we enjoyed a meal and drinks at the local pub one night.”
