"Vom Dach des Hotels konnte man den Dhaulagiri, 8167m sehen. Schon 2015 war ich auf der Suche nach einem Ort, von wo man diesen 8000-er sehen kann. Auf gut Glück fuhr ich damals mit dem Bus nach Baglung, sah ein Reklame-Schild für das Peace Palace Hotel mit dem Dhaulagiri darauf, ging dorthin und fragte nach dem Dhaulagiri-Blick. Vom Dach war der Berg damals in Wolken verhüllt. 2020 konnte ich den Berg an allen Tagen sehen. Im ganzen Ort sah ich keinen westlichen Touristen. Vielleicht bin ich...

"For the price, this was a really good hotel. The views of the lake are great. We really enjoyed the owner and son. Chatting with them is nice. Lots of food options and shopping around. Their restaurant had great BBQ food. AND, pale ale (first I saw in all of Nepal). I recommend a stay. But dont expect a palace...you pay for a good stay. You get it. "

Staff were incredibly helpful and kind. They accommodated my request to check in early, and even gave me a room upgrade. The room was clean and had everything I needed, and the location of the hotel is excellent. I definitely recommend this hotel."
