They provided food and a hot drink later in the evening for her without prompting. The restaurant food was one of the most tasty meals I have had in years. Excellent room and restaurant service."

The restaurant and bar looked quite nice but we didn’t use them. We thought the breakfast was a bit expensive at almost £40 for two so got some half price locally. We also had to pay £10 for parking nearby. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful though. All in all we had a nice stay."

Evening meals and Sunday carvery were tasty and specials were explained. A thing to note is that there is no lift so mobility needs to be good to walk up stairs which was not a problem for us. Enjoyed our stay here and will be back next year as still much more to explore in the ares"
