The villa is located in Mill Creek Country Club Drive; 5 minutes to tee off!
Very reasonable golf fees($40-18holes; $25-9holes), beautiful course with mountain views, availability daily.
We are centrally located for day trips to nearby Highlands, Cherokee, Asheville, & Bryson City. Fun for all ages: fishing, hiking, gem mining, rafting, shopping, arts, music.
This property is perfect for your entire family regarding a reasonable lodging fee....golf, relax, cook out, or grab takeout in Franklin.
The space:
Two bedrooms, two baths, open kitchen & living area with fireplace, vaulted ceilings, large enclosed back porch, carport, outside private sitting area with picnic table & bench.
Guest access:
Handicap accessible with (1) step into main entrance from carport.
Outside ground space is level with large, paved driveway to carport.
Motion detection lights provide safe access at night.
Walk-in shower in master bath.
Gated entrance for added security & safety.

Disappointed
When we arrived we noticed the exterior grounds needed attention. We had to contact the owners about no gas in the fireplace. We found two ticks and a dead cockroach. The ceiling fans were full of dust. The drywall joint tape was peeling from the walls. The ad claimed no pets allowed. We found animal toys in plain sight. This caused me to develop a sight sinus condition. We will never rent from them again. We should be reimbursed partial cost as we left a day early.

An excellent getaway
Overall the property was excellent. We loved the walk in shower and the car port.. it was roomy, well maintained and had all the kitchen items we wanted. The only issue we had were the beds. Being used to king size, we generally were uncomfortable in the queens. The owner was wonderful to deal with.

Happy we stayed there
The villa is very charming, comfortable, quiet, well-equipped, and in lovely surroundings. Early one morning we saw a fox nearby, and one evening near sundown we saw deer. The only issue was we couldn't make nor receive calls on our cell phones (Verizon). Text service and internet connection were intermittent. So for calls and reliable text/internet, just drive to the main road in the development. All in all, we're very happy we stayed there, and hope to again next year.
