Wide open areas that don’t feel sparse but give you plenty of room to move around and good privacy even in public areas. Restaurant food Good, Breakfast food/choices excellent. Great Staff who are very polite and very helpful. No questions unanswered and no issues (1) unresolved. Everything taken care of. Systems (IT, Booking, Reservations and wi-if didn;t miss a beat. All correct and timely. Spa area - pool/gym - good. Will stay again when ever I’m n the area or passing through."

"We had a lovely time at Bert and Marie's place. They are lovely hosts and we really enjoyed Giethoorn. We are a family of 4 and found the property comfortable and well appointed. The sauna is a nice addition and it is worth spending the extra money for the sloop, which allows you to explore the canals of Giethoorn at your leisure. Go out for a lovely sunset cruise it is beautiful. We recommend this property."
