Clean, Good Location and Great Breakfast
We stayed in a hot September day. The bathroom we had was very hot and no curtain in the shower. The bed was great and the breakfast was good. It is located directed in front of the main train station. It is a big hotel but some buildings have only stairs to access, no ramps. A little trouble in carrying large luggages.

I arrived late and left early, so I didn't get to explore Hamburg at all. The hotel's location is great for access to the railway station. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and I appreciated there being oat milk. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable, however there was no air-conditioning and it was a little stuffy. Also I think the use of plastic cups is not environmentally friendly.

Ragazza in reception (ma mi hanno riferito fosse la chef) molto antipatica. Ha fatto battute sulla mia allergia agli acari credendo non capissi cosa stesse dicendo. Molto cortese invece il ragazzo con cui stavo gestendo il check-in. Alla mia richiesta di upgrade in camera senza moquette mi viene fatta la richiesta di 40€/notte..inizialmente rifiuto ma purtroppo dopo 10 minuti in camera mi rendo conto che sia impossibile per me respirare (moquette vecchia e maltenuta). Quando ritorno in reception per effettuare l’upgrade mi fanno pagare 50€/notte. La cosa mi ha fatto molto innervosire ma per il resto hotel valido e con resto del personale gentile. Ottima la colazione. Molto bene SPA e piscina

Beim Einchecken hatten wir ein Zimmer bekommen was extreme Abfluss/Abwassergerüche hatte. Nach der Reklamation mussten wir nochmal bis 15h warten bis wir ein anderes Zimmer bekommen könnten. Das Personal ist auf unser Anliegen schnell eingegangen, daher keine Kritik an der Rezeption. Aber wie kann es sein dass man in einem 4 Sterne Hotel für 234€/Nacht so ein Zimmer bekommt was offensichtlich vorher nicht geprüft wurde. Im Übrigen roch es auf dem ganzen Gang in Etage5 sehr muffelig. Ansonsten war das Hotel OK

A great hotel across the street from the train station, and walking distance to shops, malls, and many great restaurant. The room was clean, and comfortable. We always stay in this hotel whenever possible. They have a great breakfast buffet. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Das Hotel hat super liebe und zuvorkommende Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption. Das Hotel besticht durch seine super Lage. Direkt am Hauptbahnhof gelegen werden mit dem 3Tages-Ticket (wird direkt an der Rezeption beim Check In ausgestellt) alle wichtigen Highlights von Hamburg mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel erreicht. Das Spa ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Die Rutsche ist sehr schnell und es ist zu erwähnen,dass diese durch das Personal auf Nachfrage geöffnet werden muss. Das Mobiliar der Zimmer wirken nicht modern aber sauber. Sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet mit tollen tollen und zuvorkommenden Mitarbeitern. Für Anreisen mit dem PKW ist eine vorab Info ans Hotel sinnvoll. Der PKW wird von den dortigen Mitarbeitern in der Parkgarage geparkt und die Schlüssel verbleiben dort,was ich persönlich nicht gut fand,da bei Check out kein Gepäck schon ins Auto gebracht werden konnte um noch den Tag in Hamburg zu nutzen.

Like always a super stay. I have been staying at Europäischer Hof over 50 times and I can only recommed this super Hotel. Arriving at Hamborg Hbf it only takes a few minutes to get there. Nice rooms and the best breakfast in Hamburg.

Only if you have no other choice
1) There are no electrical outlets within reach in the room. I had to charge the phone in the socket of the bathroom, and the laptop in the socket of the vacuum cleaner near the front door (the hotel's answer: this is how it is in all the rooms). 2) I asked if I could have a glass of fresh lemon juice (on doctor's orders - I got there after a week in Copenhagen, where they were happy to fulfill my modest request). The person responsible for breakfast answered: "No." Summary: A two star hotel pretending to be four stars.
