“We really enjoyed the house. We did not realize though how often the power goes out at this location so losing electricity for the first day was a let down especially when hosting so many people. This caused an issue for a few of us who were working remotely and caused a scare for the food in our fridges and we were told to limit water usage. The house does have a landline so we were able to contact the rental office. It did seem like the house was prepared with flashlights but the batteries……

“Beautiful surroundings, views, hike up the mountain. House was clean, comfortable, if a bit impersonal. Loved the fireplace. Shower and baths are luxurious but not great water pressure and not enough hot water to fill the tub. Aida was helpful with info. Would definitely stay here again.”

“The grounds were expansive and the location was great but the property and house need some love. There was lots of space for our party to explore and hang out on the property and everyone enjoyed the pool. The kitchen, dining and living room areas were nice. The master bedroom has to be accessed via walking through another bedroom unless you want to jump over a little fence to get to it from the outside. There is no shower in the master, so you had to walk through another guest room, out to a……

“We really enjoyed our stay at the Chalk Hill Cottage. It was clean and well set up. The bed was extremely comfortable. It was rainy and wet all weekend so we are hoping to book this cottage again so we can enjoy the outdoor area including the gas firepit.”

“Lovely cottage for our extended weekend stay. Beautiful facility, quiet, clean and 5 minutes from downtown Healdsburg. We will stay here again if we come back! The bathroom and shower is small ( we didn’t mind but it is tight). Host was very kind and communication about check-in/ check-out was super easy!”
