“While this rental has a lot of charm, the two drawbacks were the 1.) super creaky floors and 2.) the thin walls. One guest was sleeping on the top floor and reported hearing the guest on the main floor flossing their teeth. Most guests slept with ear plugs. Additionally, the expectations for guests to clean up (start towels in laundry, state the dishwasher, take out the trash, etc.) PLUS the charged clean up fee gets old after awhile. “This little apartment is in an excellent location in downtown Salida. It is easy walking distance to the restaurants and shops, right on F Street. Also very close to the river and right across the street from Riverside Park. Quite “cozy” but great for two people.”
