I am so very upset over this room. It was nasty, The bathtub was terrible, the soap dish was broken off. The carpet was nasty and there is no way I would walk on it without shoes. The chair in the room the ripped and looked like cats had. Even on it. I have pictures that I will be glad to send if I can get an email address. Had the bed not been clean we would have left. We did go to the office and the nice receptionist moved us to another room. One was as bad as the other. I am requesting compensation please. This is twice we have had problems with Expedia. This property required a $100 deposit when we checked in. We came back from a cruise and found they only returned 49 of it. I called and said there was feces on the bed and the bed spreed was damaged. My wife is one of those people that even clean hotel rooms. We have stayed at extended stays before and never had an issue and never have we had to pay a deposit.

The property was not very well maintained. I was also not checked in at a room for a very long time and spoke with the manager and it was a hassle. I do not recommend this hotel in Jacksonville.

Day 1 saw a roach in the room. Staff never brought us any kitchen utensils to use. Complimentary breakfast is the bare minimum in complimentary consisting of oatmeal, muffins, and coffee.

I called the hotel about 5:00pm on the day of check in to let them know that it would be after midnight before I arrived. The lady said it would be no problem. I arrived about 2:00am only to find out I could not check in after 12:30am. That left me with no where to stay.

Stay away!!! Not good!
We did not enjoy our stay. We had cold showers, a bathroom light that didn’t work for two days- even though we told the front desk within 5 minutes of entering our room. The maintain man SMACKED it to make it turn on. Within a few minutes that no longer worked but the officer was closed. The fridge didn’t stay cold so we lost all of our food. However nothing was done to switch rooms or get us a better fridge. We kept getting calls about noise complaints when all we were doing was walking around to get ready for bed. We were being as quiet as possible. It was frustrating. The ONLY bright spot was the kind gentleman on the front desk Thursday evening. He was lovely and tried to help with what he could. Oh also the room we reserved and that I checked the day prior to arrival on, wasn’t available so we didn’t have enough room. The room wasnt very clean either. I had to clean the fridge and the bathroom before we could use them. Worst stay ever!! Shower didn’t even get warm!

the microwave almost caught fire because the door was rusted and dirty.This made the smoke detector go off.my whole stay i was sick because the room was not cleaned properly.i have asthma and the weather change only made the situation worse.people who make buisnesses comply about pets should think about those of us who have serious respitory problems and not lay dogs lay on beds. housekeeping did not change the sheets. the lady at the front desk"SKY"? had no problem resolution skills she became flustered and just plain confused when faced with my questions concerning billing to the microwave safety issue

There was dirty garbage in the cabinets, the room smelled like piss, there was a weird film on the floor, the microwave did not work, and they were out of pans and pots and plates and cups.

Could be a lot better, could be worse.
Could use a DEEP clean. It wasn’t filthy but definitely not clean. The A/C had a strong mildew odor when ever it kicked on. The kitchen cabinet where the trash can stayed had drip marks on the inside. The kitchen faucet was grimy and slimy. It was fine for one night. I was tired and the bed did the trick. I will say the roll was cleaner than the lobby.

Did the job enough
Had to figure out how to get someone to the front desk because no one was there when I came to check in. Not fun after taking a 5 hour drive. Upon entry, the room was clean enough. Unfortunately, once I got into the bathroom and saw the stains in the tub, dirty shower curtain, broken shower lever that made turning on the tub difficult and the thin overused washcloth, nothing felt clean again. There was also hair in the bed. When we asked for new towels and linen, my partner was told we would have to hike the old items to the office and that generally they don't do the swaps after a certain time. It served the purpose of being a bed inside an A/C'd room to sleep in and that's it. If you're staying long term, prepare to clean it yourself and have a towel to make it feel more comfortable. 2 days was long enough for me with the service and cleanliness I experienced.

Cleanliness is not a priority at this location. If you lower your expectations and appreciate the price and location, it is okay enough to sleep in. Little signs of poor cleaning include dirty toilet seat, hair, used soap and used wash cloth in the shower and leftover food in the fridge. Noise level was not too bad. The check in staff was friendly.

The price and location were great. The interior was really old and worn down. It was as clean as they could make it but for a non- smoking room it smelt smokey. Lots of people hanging around and talking in the parking lot. As a woman alone I felt a need to be extra cautious.

The first room I had (207) was damp and dank. The exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work. I requested it be repaired, then changed rooms (211). The exhaust fan in that room did not work as well, but thankfully that room wasn't as dank. I asked for that fan to be repaired and the maintenance staff had NO interest. There were numerous dead roaches behind the night table and in the kitchen cabinets. One night I was awakened by a roach crawling on my hip. I swatted it away, and turned on the flashlight on my phone and found it clinging to the wall. It was over 1 1/2" long. Sadly I missed with my shoe. I was mortified when a smaller roach crawled out of my book bag later in the day while at an appointment at Mayo. The electrical outlet in the bathroom was not secure. The grounds were in a state of disrepair. I will not be returning to this property and will likely not stay at any of their other properties when I trave.

Broken Sofa
We were assigned the requested room, King bed with a sofa bed. The sofa bed was broken, filthy, and smelled. When attempting to put the sofa bed back into its position, it folded up wrong and would not budge. When it was reported to the front desk, we were told that it was in the process of being trashed.

This is the worst and the dirtiest hotel that I've been in my life. As soon as I got to the room and saw the bathroom I called orbitz claiming for help.
