“We were doing a very short SYD-MEL-SYD trip. Benalla was just 2 hours out of Melbourne so it made for an easy drive home. Its a very nice town, right on the river with great artwork, good restaurants for some takeaway and nice coffee shops for breakfast. We were very happy with our accomodation. The apartment was a good size with a king size bed and a nice bathroom with a shower and spa bath.”

“Property is old and needs a refurbishment. TV didn't work, fridge was on but kept nothing cold, property is old and run down. Terrible argument outside room on the second night. Resulted in injury and the following morning evidence of the incisent with blood everywhere. We were quite concerned for our safety. There were families at the motel and we can only imagine how frightened it would have been for them. Management was no where to be seen even the next morning. 1 star review and would not……

“A nice family on-the-road stop. Highlights: easy access, quiet through the night, comfortable bed. Lowlights: 2 minute noodles were in the kettle from the last client, and the adjoining brick wall had about 4 or 5 finger-sized holes drilled into the brickwork, which were really a bit odd/creepy. We blocked them up with paper in case they were cameras? More likely just nail holes for artwork, although a bit low for that… but surely there’s a reasonable explanation. Other than that, would book……
