“We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The room is small but perfectly adequate and comfortable. The shower was excellent, and the cleanliness of the room was very good throughout our stay. We did experience a small issue with the air conditioning, but Katia, who checked us in, was also the person who later helped us resolve the problem. Had difficulty lowering the temperature, the room is not fitted with air conditioning but at least you can open the window ajar to get a breath of fresh air. Huge bed. Very comfy! Staff in the restaurant were pleasant and welcoming; the reception staff were a bit off-hand but we stayed at a holiday weekend so I suppose their tempers were a little frayed.”

“Lovely hotel high up on the mountain side with an amazing view of the valley and Luxembourg on the other side of the river. The breakfast buffet was hardy and delicious, and the dinner one of the best I had in Europe! The natural setting was breathtaking. The infinity pool on the bottom floor has a great view of the valley, as well. The town had some fun places to explore, and it is just a short drive to Echternach on the Luxembourg side, which has a courthouse originally built by Charlemagne.……

“Room was very clean and spacious, hotel staff very helpful. If you are staying in the annexes, be aware that there is no elevator, and in our case, we had to climb 3 flights of stairs with luggage (and no assistance). Also, there is no shower, just a tub with a handheld sprayer.”
