“ELaiolithos has the owner Helen’s stamp all over it. Helen and Pamela were very welcoming and provided us great local food including homemade jams and smoothies, Greek yogurt, salads with local cheese, and really tasty cocktails. They made sure we were never hungry! The atmosphere is very intimate and we chatted with the staff and other guests throughout our stay. Helen also gave us lots of tips on where to go and what to do nearby and throughout Naxos. There’s good hiking nearby the property -……

“We’re on a tour of the islands, so we get to compare and contrast the places we stay. This one - Faros Villa - is easily the best so far. It’s located next to a nature reserve with some of the most beautiful beaches in the country, all within relatively easy walking distance. It’s run by a family and they clearly care very much about the place: just about every detail, from sheets to lighting to decor to the beautiful gardens, everything seems cared for. Then there’s the food at the adjacent……

They gave great recommendations for food and shopping AND helped with all our transfers between the airport, the ferry terminal and everywhere else we needed to get to. “Fantastic property!!!!! Wonderful view from the 2 balcony's and only a minute walk from the beach. The bus stop that takes you into town is also a minute away with a handy little store to pick up essentials. Our host "Freedom" was amazing, not only did he provide a wonderful guide to the island, he was always available for any of our needs...and cooked an amazing breakfast, not to mention his delicious chocolate ice cream! Freedom is possibly the best hotel host I have ever experienced... I……

“Wonderful hotel to escape the crowded beaches and town of Naxos. Very peaceful, beautiful beach in front of the hotel with walking to other beaches. Hotel breakfast is very nice and the restaurant/ breakfast seating area has a great view. Staff is friendly and helpful. Perfect place to escape and relax.”

“The hotel is great, my best stay during trip in Greece. Hotel room was well furnitured, modern, clean and comfortable. It has own swimming pool, but also very close to the beach, and 10-minute walk to the center of the town. Staff were nice and helpful. BTW, its 10 euro from port to the hotel by taxi.”

“Akti Kastraki Beach Resort is a wonderful, family run business where you can feel how much they care in everything they do. The accommodations, while not fancy, are very comfortable, the food is yummy and made with fresh ingredients, and the service is outstanding. Athina knows her wine, too, and this is where we had our favorite Greek wines. While in Athens and Santorini, we did not experience wines as good as what Athina selected!
