Pro's: Cheap and the beach was nice kinda private white sand beach.
Con's (long list): We booked based mainly on VRBO photos which were not accurate, about half the photos were of a much nicer and larger apartment that we did not stay in, a few of the photos were of Unit 52. Our reservation was for Unit#205 deluxe apartment which when we arrived the staff showed us to Unit#52 which is a very small not as nice studio apartment, definitely not a "Deluxe apartment". The property manager (Catrina) was not reachable before/during or after arrival and we had zero communication with her until the last day about 1hr before we checked-out (even though she apparently lives somewhere in the complex). Since she didn't communicate with us, we didn't have the Wi-Fi code until about a day before we left and I had to get the code from some other staff member. From walking around, the Point Village complex it is in disrepair and in general is not being maintained. Even though it was cheap, for the same amount I believe there are nicer places to stay in Negril with a better location and the same or better beach access with a better quality of accommodations and a better property manager. Just for the record, Point Village is located on a point between Royalton resort and the Hedonism 2 resort, not as the VRBO map shows. Also, Point Village was not close to Negril or any store or shopping areas, must take taxi anywhere.
