The staff at check were great! Very friendly. The room was super clean. The window did leak a little when there was a heavy down pour. The vending machines were pretty empty. Free coffee and tea in the lobby. Overall, one of the nicer red roofs Ive stayed in. Would stay again

Might have been timing, but it was like a frat party in the parking lot. Mattresses were substandard, the rest was fine and we did get a good night’s sleep. Didn’t live up the the very good rating standard, more like 7/10, but could have been just spring break timing.

Super friendly staff! Very large room. You can see they are working on upgrading, A/C unit was brand new and very cold. Bathroom sink filled up quickly and was very slow drain. Probably just needs a dose of drain clearer.

Checked in just shy of midnight after a long drive. Immediately upon entering the room, I noticed something on the wall. Upon closer inspection, I found that it was a ROACH! My husband smashed it. We were exhausted & I told myself it was probably just one random roach that had arrived via a previous visitor. I was grossed out, but it was late & we didn't know the area well enough to search for other accommodations. The next morning I went into the bathroom to start getting ready for the day. What greeted me was ANOTHER ROACH! I have never dressed & packed so quickly in my life. I wanted out of there! My husband told the front desk person about the roaches when he returned the room keys & they just dismissed his comments by blaming the roaches on the constant flow of guests passing through. We didn't ask for a refund or anything of that nature, but we wanted to make sure the staff knew there was an issue. Apparently they don't care. Just think, if we had 2 ROACH encounters in 1 room, in less than an 8 hr stay, how many more are in that hotel???

Red Roof for the Win
This hotel is only a few minutes away from the World Equestrian Center where for the last few years my best friends and I go to and expo center where they host Anime conventions! The hotel staff was great, the rooms clean and spacious, great amenities and beds were comfortable. The only thing was the pillows were too soft and small, and that’s not even a big deal at all! Definitely would love to go back for our next convention in the Ocala area
