Saale Valley is an ideal place to begin exploring Thuringia. This mountain-surrounded landscape comes recommended by fellow travelers, but it isn't the only thing to do here. Allow some time for other sights like Bleiloch Dam, Thuringian Highlands-Upper Saale Nature Park, and Frankenlift to really enjoy what the area has to offer.
