Be sure to get the breakfast because it is a feast of local flavors. Wonderful hosts who can make excellent dining recommendations. Worth the money for a once in a lifetime experience. ”

“What a beautiful region & remarkable home! My family of 4 spent two weeks in this city’s most enchanting, most photographed medieval cottage & loved our stay. The home is quiet at night, beds were comfortable, washer & toilet on ground floor were convenient & fans for cooling were provided. We enjoyed the small patio for morning coffee & it was so nice to step out the door & have all of Sarlat at our feet. Or within 15 minutes be in another perfectly preserved voted ‘most beautiful’ medieval……

“Le gite est très propre, bien équipé et la literie au top, on a dormi comme des bébés. Nos hôtes Philippe et Véronique sont très accueillants, présents et chaleureux. Le gîte est placé sur les hauteurs de Sarlat et permet de rayonner tout autour. Il est au calme, nous le recommandons fortement. Aurélie et Daniel.”

“The Maison de Tari is a perfect place to stay for families looking to explore the area around Sarlat. We stayed in a family room with three small children and it suited us perfectly. All rooms had a separate outside sitting area with a large table. It had a good sized pool, a separate communal cooking and dining area, including a gas BBQ and a fridge. A great continental breakfast was provided that included fresh pastries from the local bakery, and a selection of local jams, cheeses and meats.……
