" Ok, there is both good and bad with this Hotel. Let's start out with the good. The price was good. The room was clean. The room looked nice. The décor was nice. The view from the Balcony in my room was nice, but the view really depended on the weather. if the weather was bad, you could not see the mountains and were just stuck seeing other buildings It had hot water and decent water pressure. "Wonderful place with a wonderful owner. We were here in December and in that time of the year, be prepared to have warm clothes. As in every house around, you wear warm clothes inside as well. No central heating but AC in the rooms. The owner of the place is very helpful and everything can be solved thanks to a translation device/application, good mood and patience. "I had a very nice stay here. The family that own the hotel are very kind and helpful. They went out of their way to look after me. The bed was comfy, the shower was hot and the Aircon kept me cool. There are lots of shops and places to eat on their street. I would definitely stay there again."

"Lovely and homely stay at the lodge. We were pleasantly upgraded to a cabin room which we loved. Rain was extremely welcoming and helped us with all our luggage and even brought out a heater to our room as soon as we asked. Great communication, amazing location for the Zhangjaijei mountains, and Rain even dropped us and picked us up. There is a tea master as well who makes home made teas and some cute pets. Truly feels like a lovely family run cosy home. Would definitely recommend!"

"our host here has to be the best we’ve encountered! she was extremely helpful with sightseeing directions , accommodating with the room and food, instantly responsive to requests. we somehow had quite a bunch of requests too. I felt really bad but she was so great. This trip would have been a lot harder to navigate if it wasn’t for her help. She even went beyond what is normally expected, helping us with the next leg of our trip in China. highly, highly recommend the place, very clean, beautiful view, and just all around awesomeness.
