Missing Important Details
My family and I made a reservation a few days before the check in. In the check in instructions the owner mentioned that she had a dog to please remember to close the gate so the dog would not get out. I immediately informed the owner that we could not stay at the property because my son is allergic to dog hair if she could please not have the dog during our stay. She insisted that the dog will be staying at the dog house. She called me and before ending our conversation, she agreed to a full refund which she then changed to a fee for preparation when contacted by Vrbo. This was decided after many calls to Vrbo, who tried contacting her and was able to communicate with her after multiple calls. There was no understanding The only way that we could not have enjoyed our vacation and the amenities offered . We would have to stay in the guess room which she stated the dog did not go into. She would tell me one thing over the phone and another to VRBO. Make sure you communicate with her through the messages only. This was a headache and a waste of time making phone calls and writing emails to Vrbo and we are still waiting for the partial refund for a stay that we did not even checked in because our son’s wellbeing and health is our priority. Very disappointing!!
