“Great spot to stay.”

“The first time I stayed at Chocolate Lake was when I was bringing my son to University. This time, returning, was for his graduation and the experience was the same. The property has very good amenities, a free coffee, hot chocolate, espresso etc. machine in the lobby which is accessible 24/7, and a full breakfast is also included. The shower pressure was good, the room was clean and well laid out. The staff were helpful and the hotel sits on a beautiful lake. Chocolate Lake was my first choice……

“Very convenience location just walking distance to darkmouth crossing outlet , cineplex and restaurants. Staff are very nice too. Breakfast is perfect. But you should go earlier because they open until 10am. Sometime 9:40 just have something left. ”

“It was easy to find, and comfortable. Lots of walkable shops, plus Costco and IKEA close by. Dining within the hotel was limited. Macdonalds and Tim Horton close by, and several other restaurants . ”

“This is an older property, badly in need of renovation. However, the staff was very pleasant and helpful. Everything in the room worked. Breakfast was fine, although lacked protein options such as egg / bacon. The rest of the breakfast was nicely set up with multiple options for bread etc. Guests were all very quiet, although there were some issues being on the front facing the parking lot with people's rental car alarms going off in the morning, probably due to not understanding how to……
