Everybody, EVERY one, we came in contact with here from front desk to Bistro to housekeeping responded with genuine warmth, hospitality, individual (not market group infused) humanity and pride, and it shows! Our one night, on-the-road, late arrival/early departure stay seemed something like a visit to a spa hotel. These folks *own* their pride in what they do. (Okay, so our A/C was rattly, wheezing, loud, too hot then too cold, so what. I bet if we'd called at 3:00 am someone would have come up and fixed the dang thing on the spot, and then sung us lullabies til we got back to sleep.) All chain hotels—all Courtyards!— should be so good.
