ENTIRE GARDEN COTTAGE FOR SOLO TRAVELLER

Our cottage for one traveller is an airy skylit space with a vaulted ceiling and a private garden outlook. It is a short walk to hiking trails along the Seymour River and up Seymour Mountain, including to the famed Baden-Powell trail. Capilano University, Capilano Suspension Bridge, Deep Cove village, a bird refuge and Lonsdale Quay market are also close by. You can ski/snowshoe on three local mountains. Downtown Vancouver is 20-25 mins by car or bus. A cozy gas fireplace awaits your return!

The space
Our well-treed neighbourhood is considered one of the safest in Metro Vancouver. The cottage is located close to Nature with the West Coast forest trails just a short walk away. There is quick access to Capilano University and downtown Vancouver via an efficient and reliable public transit service. The bus stop is just a one minute walk from the cottage and the bus trip is about 25 minutes to downtown Vancouver, depending on traffic. We respect your privacy but are immediately available through talk/text/doorknock should you need any help or suggestions.

Guest access
The cottage has free parking on the cul-de-sac just outside the gate. It also has a spacious desk with ample work space, high speed internet and a comfortable work chair, facing an attractive private garden.

Other things to note
There are no resident pets on site, so the cottage should be hypoallergenic.
We provide a small fruit basket, some instant oatmeal packages, eggs, muffins, butter, and milk to get you started. We also supply some basics, like tea and coffee, sugar, oil and vinegar, salt and pepper. Close by (six blocks) is Ron Andrews Rec Centre, a municipally run facility open to all for a drop-in fee ($6.35). It has an Olympic-size swimming pool, hot tub, steam room and sauna, two fitness rooms and a squash court. It's open from 5 a.m-10 p.m. every day. Also if you are not driving, there is a bike rental shop within 2.5 kilometres of the cottage that rents all kinds of bicycles, including electric bikes, by the day, week or month for a reasonable fee.
