“Very central location for Stone Town. Easy to walk to local attractions. Less easy to get back to but that is due to the many narrow streets rather and geography of the area and nothing to do with the hotel! The hotel is known by everyone so if you get lost someone will help you get back. It is noisy with building work going on nearby, calls to prayer, and the church bells ringing but we expected that to be the case and soon got used to it. The air conditioning, fan and turn down service……

“The experience was quite bad as the manager Juma intentionally showed a better and bigger room with giving us a single bed room mentioned that’s standard room we booked (which we booked a double room) and asked us to pay more for change. 2 of us changed and saw Juma directly put the money in his own pocket. The feeling is awful. In addition to that, the towel wasn’t change at all as I can find the same stain for 2 days. The housekeeper then changed after I asked. The only benefit is near……
