"We travel as a group of 8 ( 4 brothers and their wives ) for golfing every year and decided we wanted to stay in digby. We stayed at this property and it was perfect for us. There wss actually 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms so everyone had their own space . The patio was large and plenty of chairs. The kitchen had everything we needed . We had a great time here."

"Our family band stayed at this wonderful historic home for a week during the Congress Mondial Acadie festival. There was plenty of sleeping space for everyone. We enjoyed great times cooking together in the kitchen and then visiting by the front yard fire pit in the wonderful red Adirondack chairs. "

The property itself could use some landscaping as it's small and there's nowhere to go besides the upper deck when the grass is knee-high, especially for the dog, and unfortunately there is no dock or way of getting into the water for a swim without going through the sludge or getting into the kayaks which we didn't try. "The surrounding area was scary. Inside cabin was fine accept the step up into the living bedroom space was dangerous. Curtains were needed in the kitchen area. Accessiblity would be an issue for some. Really hard to contact owners and find the cabin. Would not recommend!!"
