Not very nice around the property. Interior painted walls are in weird colors and coloring within the lines was not a requirement. TV selections were poor - no Espn. Poor maintenance evident as the return spring on our door was dangling. We will be back in the area but staying elsewhere.

Actually enjoyed it.. rooms are spacious, yes they are doing some renovations so it’s not the prettiest walking in but you can see the vision, smell pleasant while walking in.. not bad for the price.

The bed was making weird noises when I teied to turn n toss. I couldn't sleep well. The A/C or Heat is very noisy. Very limited breakfast options. Overall not worth $80 a night. I stayed in better Laquinta before but this particular one is not worth it.

Well worth the price!
We were in Birmingham for the Barber Vintage Motorcycle Fest. This hotel was well worth the price. I really appreciate how they did not gouge their prices like many and most hotels because of the Barber Fest. It’s a clean hotel and appears to have had upgrades done and still upgrading. The beds and pillows are comfortable, which was a concern for me because I normally sleep in a recliner due to my back and other injuries. I slept well in this Hotel’s bed so I am well pleased! The shower was awesome too, just be careful of the slick tub. They should have a anti slip mat in the tub but just needed to be cautious. Oh and the breakfast is pretty good, we enjoyed it every morning. Overall it was a great stay and we will consider staying here again next time we’re in Birmingham.

The prices for the dog fees were not clear. I thought the fee was $25 for two pets. Then when I checked it was told it was $35 per dog. I did get it down to $50 for 2 but the hotel room was only $90. I think that is high for a chain of hotels that didn’t use to charge at all.

We stay at laquinta when we travel as they accommodate our pets.. This location overall was nice however I wish the beds werent so high off the ground makes it hard when traveling with elderly parents.It would also be helpful if all bathrooms had handle to get in and out of shower since there are no non slip adhesive in the shower floor.. Lighting in the bathroom vanity area not practical at all..
