The pond is a natural home to the blue heron, great white egret, the red-eared slider turtle, bullfrogs, and a few Louisiana crawfish!

If traveling from over seas, New Orleans International Airport is just about 2 hours away. It’s convenient for a pleasant day trip to New Orleans as well!
