Campione is located across the lake from Lugano in an Italian enclave that goes back centuries. Quieter and more intimate than Lugano. There is a large and modern Casino located a few hundred meters from the hotel that has entertainment, if that appeals to you. A very caring staff that anticipated every need. Spectacular view of the Lake. A romantic setting, if that is what you want. Great breakfast and a fine dinner restaurant. They were very helpful about making way in front of the hotel for convenient parking of my vehicle.

Modern design beautiful and spacious room. Welcome drinks and fingerfoods was really delicious. I tried everything on breakfast and everything was really yummy. Coffee also was great, actually the best coffee I had in Italy so far. View of the lake is amazing though .

The first room had wet carpets from bathroom leak. Shower situation needs to be reworked, since 3rd room had similar water stains. Moved to much smaller room for the night. Next morning moved to same big luxury room we booked. Nice welcome drink and snack! Very nice people. Beautiful breakfast. Room we booked was very large and nice.

Grand indeed
Wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly friendly right from the start. They took care of the car, luggage, even provided refreshments upon check in. We stayed two nights and this friendliness and professionalism continued throughout our stay. We enjoyed dinner on site one night and the service and food was equally superb. A great experience overall.

Hotel sensacional, com vista de tirar o fôlego. A maioria dos colaboradores muito atenciosos e gentis e vale um comentário sobre isso: Queria parabenizar a Francesca pela atenção, gentileza e educação nos recebeu e deu diversas informações e dicas úteis, mas infelizmente o outro recepcionista Ciprian foi extremamente indelicado conosco ao pedirmos uma toalha de banho para levarmos à beach club, disse que nas toalhas não poderiam sair do hotel, simples e seco e não informou que nos beach clubs já eram fornecidas toalhas. Jeito dele foi rude tanto nesse atendimento como no checkout. Ao contrário desse atendimento todos outros colaboradores: Maty, Richard e outra atendente do restaurante (salvo engano da Índia) que esqueci o nome foram super gentis e corteses Hotel sensacional

Positiv: Freundlichkeit/Service des Personals, Frühstück, Größe und Ausstattung der Zimmer Man sollte Zimmer mit Seeblick nehmen. Nachteil: Ohnen Auto ist man aufgeschmissen.

Be sure to get a lake voew room, they are very nice! We only tried thw reaturaunt once but it was exceptional, some of the best food we ate in Lugano / Como!! Staff were really good also. Highly reccomend the hotel!

Wonderful retreat at Lago Lugano
For the second time we enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Grand Hotel Campione. The hotel is fabulous with its boutique style and splendid lake view. We booked the junior suite again which is absolutely gorgeous with breathtaking views and modern design. Dinner was fantastic too with excellent Italian cuisine and super friendly staff. We also tried the private spa which is rather small but very nice and clean. For sure we will come back to this awesome place.

Three days stay in Grand Hotel
Despite the location of the hotel being outside of the city center of Lugano, the hotel itself is just great. Very friendly stuff, always supportive mastering all the languages typical for given region. Near the hotel you can find nice restaurants for fair price tag. Connection to Lugano is ensured via bus with a bus stop in front of the hotel. The view from the window of your room is just amazing - sunset and sunrise ob the lake is just taking your breath.

5stelle tutte meritate, soggiorno da favola!
Appena entrati siamo rimasti subito colpiti dall’ambiente e dal personale molto caloroso, poi salendo e arrivati sul piano della nostra camera abbiamo notato un intenso profumo di pulizia…..e una volta aperta la porta della nostra camera Élite, non abbiamo potuto fare a meno di dire woooooow!!!!!…..un mini loft arradeto con gusto, lo definirei un classico moderno, con colori caldi e rilassanti; poi a rendere il tutto più spettacolare, la vista prepotente del lago e della montagna. Per concludere, il servizio in camera della prima colazione, consumata nella splendida terrazza.
