“The Bungalow style house was perfect for our large group. The place is well kept and maintained by care taker “Lalo”. Lalo was very welcoming and always smiling. This place is close to Puerto Jimenez and Corcovado National park. We saw so many Toucans, Macaws and so many different birds very closely during stay. Book this place and you won’t regret.”

“This place gave us just what we wanted...an immersive jungle experience complete with Squirrel and Capuchin monkeys, lots of birds including a daily visit from a roadside Hawk, giant Cane Toads and other frogs, and toucans and macaws flying over. Having the dogs visit was also a highlight for us as we missed our dog back home. The house is gorgeous with huge windows and the shower was wonderful. “The property is a casita (mother-in-law apartment) within the gated property of the host. They have an additional rental. I liked that we were living like the locals do. The Casita is simple with a fantastic balcony. The hosts were wonderful although only the husband speaks English so communication once there was challenging. “We rented this in June 2023\. I don’t think it had been rented much because it had very little wear and tear. I didn’t realize how beautiful the property really would be. The description just does not do it justice. The monkeys came right to the camp several times. The birds were everywhere. Golifito bay is right there. I really loved this place. The fans keep you pretty cool at night and we would all just take a cool outdoor shower before bed and slept well. I would definitely recommend this……
